Ameneh Maghzi

Founding Attorney

Attorney Ameneh Maghzi combines extensive legal experience with a deeply personal understanding of the challenges immigrants face, making her uniquely qualified to guide individuals through the complexities of immigration law. As an immigrant herself, she brings an unmatched level of empathy and commitment to her practice, dedicated to helping others achieve their dreams of building a new life in a foreign country. She firmly believes that all people should be treated with dignity, live freely, and flourish—values that guide her every interaction with clients and inform her legal work.

Before immigrating to the United States, Attorney Maghzi established herself as an attorney specializing in international law. While studying in Canada, she seized the opportunity to expand her legal expertise by gaining experience in family and criminal law. Her academic journey reflects her exceptional dedication to her craft. She holds a Master of Political Science from Memorial University of Newfoundland, where she was honored as a Fellow of the School of Graduate Studies in recognition of her outstanding academic achievements. She furthered her legal education by earning a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Emory University School of Law, where she received special recognition from the Center for the Study of Law and Religion for her scholarship and contributions to the field.

Despite her impressive academic and professional accomplishments, Attorney Maghzi remains deeply connected to her roots as an immigrant. Having personally navigated the immigration process, she understands the obstacles, uncertainties, and emotional toll it can take. This personal experience fuels her passion for helping others in similar circumstances, ensuring they receive the guidance and support they need throughout their journey.

Attorney Maghzi is an active member of the State Bar of Georgia, the American Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and the National Immigration Project Lawyers for Immigrant Rights (NIPNLG), staying at the forefront of developments in immigration law.
